Has a strong odor of dry-cleaning liquid that won’t go away
By W. Maite
I was using various littler cosmetic-type zipper bags to move my things from purse to purse, so when I saw this product, it looked as altho it would do the occupation a little more easily. I don’t recognise if I’ll ever be capable to find that out, however, because the inserts have such a strong chemical odor that I do not want to put them into any of my purses. I’ve tried spraying them with Febreeze and setting them outside to air out, and I have likewise sent them through a machine wash with extra detergent, but the odor persists.
Perhaps over time, the smell will ultimately dissipate, but until then, I can’t review the performance of the product. It’s too bad, because the insert looks as altho it would be rather useful… if only it didn’t smell like a vat of dry-cleaning fluid.

Kangaroo Keeper chemical smell
By waveman
I purchased the Kangaroo Keeper for my wife because she gets frustrated when searching for things in her purse. When I at last received the items I noticed a smell not different from diesel fuel or insecticide (it’s made from polyethelyn). I tried everything from vinegar, clothes detergent and plainly airing it out. Nothing works and now the Kangaroo Keepers are hanging in my garage competing with the exhaust fumes from my car; and my wife still proceeds to struggle with finding things in her purse. Don’t buy this, it’s toxic!
